National Institute of Cardiology: change in the composition of the directorate

Maciej Dabrowski, M.D., took over as deputy director for clinical affairs at the National Institute of Cardiology last Wednesday. He succeeded Prof. Maciej Sterlinski, MD, who is returning to work with patients at the NIKard Center for Heart Rhythm Disorders.

According to a post on the institute's social media, Dr. Maciej Dabrowski has been professionally affiliated with the National Institute of Cardiology since 2003. He works in the Department of Cardiology and Interventional Angiology. His interests include coronary interventions, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, TAVI and transcatheter treatment of structural heart disease.

Dr. M. Dabrowski is a member of the Scientific Council of the National Institute of Cardiology, a member of the Polish Society of Cardiology (Association of Cardiovascular Interventions, Heart Defects Section), the European Society of Cardiology and the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions. He has authored and co-authored more than 100 scientific publications. He is currently undergoing proceedings for a postdoctoral degree.
