Scholarships of the Minister of Health for students of medical schools

The best is one for whom the primary criterion is the good of the patient," she stressed.
Deputy Health Minister Ursula Demkow joined the congratulations: - You are the ones who will conduct research, develop scientifically, earn doctorates, gain experience and use it for all of us.
The group of winners included 48 students from nine medical universities in Poland. The largest number of scholarships - as many as 12 - went to students of the Medical University of Lodz, and another 10 to students of the Medical University of Warsaw. Among the awardees are also representatives of universities in Lublin, Wroclaw, Katowice, Poznań, Gdańsk, Białystok and Szczecin.
Applications for the health minister's scholarships were evaluated by experts of an advisory team appointed by the ministry. The team included scientists representing various disciplines in the fields of medical and health sciences. The evaluation took into account the quality of the submitted works, their innovation and author's contribution.
A total of PLN 816,000 has been allocated for scholarships in the 2024/2025 academic year. Each of the awarded students will receive PLN 17,000 in support. Out of 110 applicants, scholarships were awarded to 48 people.
