Health Minister Izabela Leszczyna awarded 49 scholarships to medical students for significant achievements. Most of them were for academic performance.

According to the Ministry of Health, each winner received a scholarship for achievements in the 2023/2024 academic year in the amount of PLN 17,000. Applications for the minister's scholarships were evaluated by experts of an advisory panel consisting of medical school academics. Forty-seven scholarships were awarded for academic achievements, and two for sports achievements.
The awardees are students from:
- Medical University of Lublin (13 scholarship recipients),
- Silesian Medical University in Katowice (8 scholarship recipients),
- Warsaw Medical University (8 scholarship recipients),
- Medical University of Lodz (7 scholarship recipients),
- Wroclaw Medical University (6 scholarship recipients),
- Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin (3 scholarship recipients),
- Medical University of Bialystok (2 scholarship recipients),
- University of Medical Sciences in Poznań (2 scholarship recipients).
