According to an announcement issued yesterday (22.08.), the wearing of protective masks by visitors and staff has been introduced at the Polish Baptism Memorial Hospital. Visits have been limited to one person at a time (in emergency situations, additional visitors are decided by the ward coordinator). People with symptoms of respiratory infection will not be allowed to visit loved ones. It has become mandatory for visitors to disinfect their hands immediately upon entering the hospital ward.

On elective admissions, patients with symptoms of respiratory tract infections will undergo an antigen test for identification of SARS CoV2 virus. In case of a positive result, patients will be referred to home isolation.
