NIK has audited the finances of Lublin's Sanitary Inspection stations. It positively assessed only the PSSE in Kraśnik

The Supreme Audit Office, following an audit of district sanitary-epidemiological stations in Lubelskie Voivodeship, gave a positive assessment of the implementation of the financial plan for budget revenues and expenditures in 2021-2022 only in the facility in Kraśnik. In the other five audited stations, significant irregularities were found, which included the implementation of the financial plan and errors in the preparation of budget reports. In addition, there was a violation of public finance discipline at the station in Leczna, as a result of which the NIK filed a notice to the ombudsman for public finance discipline.

There are 20 district sanitary-epidemiological stations in the Lublin Province, for which a total of 68.9 million zlotys, in 2021. PLN 88.8 million, and in 2022. - PLN 107.5 million. NIK inspected six stations: in Kraśnik, Łęczna, Radzyn Podlaski, Ryki, Świdnik and Tomaszów Lubelski. The main purpose of the audit was to check whether, in 2021-2022, the district sanitary-epidemiological stations properly implemented the financial plan for budget revenues and expenditures, and used funds to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Implementation of budget revenues and taking collection actions

Revenues realized in 2022 by the controlled stations amounted to PLN 517.3 thousand (they were higher than the revenues achieved in 2021 by PLN 136.9 thousand, i.e. 36%) and accounted for 12.8% of the total amount of revenues realized by district sanitary-epidemiological stations in Lublin Province.
