More than PLN 700,000 worth of equipment has been added to the operating theater of the University Clinical Hospital in Opole. It's a CO2 surgical laser, which will support the work of ENT surgeons, among others, during the treatment of laryngeal tumors and sleep apnea and other ear diseases. Orthopedic drills, on the other hand, will make it possible to conduct operations simultaneously in two rooms.

- Performing surgery with a CO2 laser reduces the time of surgery and the patient's stay in the hospital.
