The Minister of Health has decided to conduct an additional stage in the spring qualification procedure for medical and medical-dental specializations. The third stage was launched on April 22, 2024 in the Education Monitoring System (SMK). In it, 116 doctors were qualified for residency spots in priority fields.

Due to the fact that after the announcement of the final lists of qualified and unqualified physicians for specialty training under the qualification procedure starting on March 1, 2024, there are unused residency positions remaining, pursuant to Article 16ca of the Law of December 5, 1996 on the professions of physician and dentist (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1516, as amended), the Ministry of Health informs that:
The Minister of Health has decided to conduct an additional stage of the qualification procedure.
Doctors and dentists who are not qualified for specialty training, who have indicated at least one option of choice covering a priority field of medicine in the residency mode and were not qualified for this option in either the first or second stage of the procedure, will participate in the additional stage of the qualification procedure. Physicians and dentists who were qualified in the first or second stage and did not confirm acceptance of the indicated option may not be qualified for that option again.
