- We see the willingness of the current Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar to cooperate with the medical community. We are holding a number of talks on resolving issues that we have been facing for a long time, and we see a chance that we will conclude them with a consensus in the near future. These issues include the principle of the higher good (no fault), the institution of a coroner or expert witness centers," says Supreme Medical Council President Lukasz Jankowski.

The President of the NRL stresses that he welcomed with satisfaction the decision of the Minister of Justice to withdraw his predecessor's application to the Constitutional Court, which the medical self-government had sought. - We viewed the motion as an attempt to undermine the principles of the functioning and the idea of the medical self-government, and it is good news that the authority has withdrawn from the actions started by the previous attorney general.

The President of the Supreme Medical Council and representatives of the Ministry of Justice are scheduled for further meetings on the topics in question.
