The Draft Regulation of the Minister of Health on the limit of enrollment in medical and medical-dental faculties has been submitted for consultation.
More places for medical and medical-dental studies in the 2023/2024 academic year

The determination of the enrollment limit for studies in the aforementioned fields of study has been drawn up according to the division into uniform master's degree programs conducted as full-time studies in Polish, uniform master's degree programs conducted as part-time studies in Polish, and uniform master's degree programs conducted as full-time or part-time studies in a language other than Polish, with a division into universities authorized to provide studies in a given field of study.
For studies in the medical faculty , the projected total enrollment limit is 9725 places (including 6167 places for uniform master's degree programs conducted as full-time studies in Polish for Polish citizens and foreigners, 1729 places for uniform master's degree programs conducted as part-time studies in Polish, and 1829 places for uniform master's degree programs conducted as full-time or part-time studies in a language other than Polish).
Meanwhile, for studies in the field of medicine and dentistry, the projected limit of enrollment is 1337 places (including 818 places for uniform master's studies conducted as full-time studies in Polish for Polish citizens and foreigners, 221 places for uniform master's studies conducted as part-time studies in Polish, and 298 places for uniform master's studies conducted as full-time or part-time studies in a language other than Polish).
Compared to the limits granted for the 2022/2023 academic year, in the 2023/2024 academic year the overall enrollment limit for medical and medical-dental studies increased by 322 places, including for medical and medical-dental studies on uniform master's degree programs conducted as full-time studies in Polish, the enrollment limit was increased by 393 places, for medical and doctor-dental faculties on uniform master's degree programs conducted as part-time studies in Polish, the enrollment limit decreased by 27 places, while for uniform master's degree programs conducted as full-time or part-time studies in a language other than Polish, the enrollment limit decreased by a total of 44 places.
