The Institute of Health Communication invites you to VI Patient Empowerment Congress . As every year, during this meeting, we want to focus the attention of decision-makers, doctors, institutions influencing the shape of the health care system, as well as the media on the current needs of patient organizations, and together consider what under the two years of the pandemic and the humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine stands for EMPOWERMENT PATIENT. Do some definitions remain unchanged today or on the contrary: do they urgently need them?
We will talk about health and the system in crisis, standard of treatment vs. the standard of living of a patient with a chronic disease, rare diseases, challenges in the field of cardiology and oncology, but also about emotions in disease or the role of screening. The discussion will be mainly attended by experts, ie PATIENTS.
There will be a special Patient eXperience session on the first and second day. On the stage of the congress, we will see the leaders of patient organizations, whose short speeches will be remembered and will be the introduction to long and important discussions. After the Congress, we will jointly create a unique brochure in which we will include the most important postulates of patient organizations and forward it to the Ministry of Health.
After panel discussions and lunch, we invite you to workshops, incl. "Media DO IT YOURSELF" and "Future thinking or design thinking in the structures of patient organizations" in the media - that is everything you would like to know about the way to the goal.
