As announced by the head of the Ministry of Health, a bill on this matter will be presented in October. The implementation of the new regulations is tentatively scheduled for 2024.
- The patient will have enlarged maximum choices. From the very beginning, when he goes to the doctor, he will decide with him which place he will go - said Adam Niedzielski.
An e-referral will be issued during the visit. On its basis, the patient will be able to pre-enroll for spa treatment. The health resort doctor will assess whether this choice is justified.
In the reformed spa treatment, the minimum number of treatments is also to be increased. The possibility for the patient to choose the place of treatment is to contribute to the fact that spas will start competing with each other, and as a result, the quality of services provided in them will increase.
