– We do not rule out such a solution, but we still need some time for specialists to advise us whether this is the moment when we can afford it – Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Monday during a visit to Czeladź in response to journalists' questions about the possibility of lifting the ban from January state of epidemic threat.

The fact that talks about the possibility of making such a decision are underway was confirmed by the Minister of Health, Adam Niedzielski, at a press conference on Tuesday.
- I want to say very clearly that in addition to reviewing our internal regulations regarding the state of epidemic threat, we are also looking at what is happening on the side of international organizations - added the head of the Ministry of Health.
As emphasized by Adam Niedzielski, a possible decision to lift the state of epidemic threat will also be made based on the recommendations of international institutions specializing in infection control.
Let us remind you that the state of epidemic threat has been in force since May 16, when the state of epidemic lasting from March 20, 2020 was lifted. In October, the state of epidemic emergency was extended until the end of the year.
