President of the Supreme Council of Nurses and Midwives Mariola Lodzinska does not hide her joy, as Minister of Health Izabela Leszczyna has accepted the proposals for systemic solutions for improving the quality of lactation counseling developed by the Team for Improving the Quality of Perinatal Care.
Lactation advice will be a guaranteed benefit

Action will be taken first on:
- The introduction of specialized lactation advice by a physician and midwife to the guaranteed services under outpatient specialized care - in accordance with the draft card prepared by the Team
- health care services,
- the change of forms (MZ/Szp-11 and MZ-11) in the system of monitoring the nutrition of newborns and infants conducted under the Program of public statistical surveys.
Recommendations for improving the quality of lactation counseling, prepared by the social side of the Team, will be analyzed and, if appropriate, used in further work.
