Sanitary and hygienic expert. Who will get the qualification?

The purpose of the proposed amendments to the Ordinance of the Minister of Health of November 29, 2002 on sanitary and hygienic experts (Journal of Laws, item 1792) is to increase the number of persons who will be able to apply for admission to the examination for sanitary and hygienic expert and the granting of sanitary and hygienic expert authorization, by not specifying the fields of study, viz. architecture and urban planning, environmental engineering in the specialty of sanitary engineering, or construction engineering in the specialty of structural engineering, but indicating that a person applying for the granting of the appraiser's authorization must graduate with a degree in architecture or a degree in architecture and urban planning, construction or environmental engineering.
- Provide the opportunity for graduates of universities who hold a degree in architecture or a degree in architecture and urban planning, construction or environmental engineering and who meet the requirements for at least ten years of professional practice in the field of study completed to apply for the award of the appraiser's license.
- To systematize the way of acquiring appraiser credentials in the various scopes.
- Unambiguously regulate the payment of fees by appraiser candidates for the qualification exam.
- Regulate the rules for setting dates for the qualification exam.
- Streamlining the procedure for revoking an appraiser's credentials in the event of improper performance of the appraiser's duties by regulating the detailed scope of the application to initiate this procedure.
