The regulation provides for the reorganization of the internal structure of the Inspectorate, with the aim of carrying out tasks more efficiently and professionalizing management. The planned changes include the abolition of the Project Management Office and the creation of a new Department of Health Promotion and Public Communication.
Changes in the naming of departments
The project also includes changes to the names of three existing departments. These proposals include:
- The Department of Supervision and Inspection will be renamed the Department of Quality and Supervision,
- The Department of Environmental Hygiene will be renamed the Department of Human Environmental Health Safety,
- The Department of Anti-epidemics and Border Sanitation will be transformed into the Department of Infectious Disease Prevention and Control.
These changes are intended to better reflect the specifics of the tasks performed and the responsibilities of the various units within the GIS.
New management model - direction towards efficiency and modernity
The new regulations are intended not only to improve the efficiency of the Inspectorate's operations, but also to professionalize its management model. Thanks to the planned changes, the GIS will be able to respond more quickly and effectively to new public health challenges, as well as to carry out its statutory tasks more efficiently.
