– Viral diseases are not treated with antibiotics. Only complications or bacterial superinfections can be treated in this way - emphasized Adam Niedzielski.
The Minister of Health also assured that access to medicines is ensured, although their stocks are rapidly depleting from warehouses.
- That's why we monitor their quantity, also in pharmacies. We are sure that there will be plenty of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. We are also talking to manufacturers about antiviral drugs - said the minister.
