Until the end of September, the provincial branches of the National Health Fund accept applications from medical institutions and pharmacies that want to vaccinate against influenza. The service of administering the vaccine to the patient is fully reimbursed by the National Health Fund.

Institutions that wish to vaccinate must have personnel capable of qualifying and performing vaccinations, as well as an appropriate room for the procedure. From the IT side, access to the P1 System, run by the e-Health Center, is necessary. Thanks to it, information about the patient's immunization is recorded in the electronic Vaccination Card and visible in the Patient's Internet Account. For each flu vaccination, the medical facility and the pharmacy will receive PLN 21.83. Applications for a vaccination center can be submitted electronically.
So far, there are about 4,000 people operating in Poland. flu vaccination points. More than a third of them are organized in pharmacies. However, a patient who wants to be vaccinated in a pharmacy must first obtain a prescription for the vaccine from a doctor. The cost of the preparation is not reimbursed for all patients. Free vaccines are available to pregnant women and seniors over 75 years of age. They can count on a partial refund, among others adults up to 65 years of age at risk of developing complications from the flu.
