The guest of Medexpress is dr hab. med. Anna Wójcicka, geneticist, co-founder of Warsaw Genomics.
- The helpline supports oncological patients from Ukraine, among others in arranging a visit to a therapeutic center, transport from the border to hospitals, providing free genetic tests that are required when starting or continuing oncological treatment, contacting a psycho-oncologist, issuing prescriptions (several dozen have been written so far). Patients not only oncology call for help.
- The challenge is to translate patients' medical records
- The lack of coordinated anticovid prevention among Ukrainian citizens coming to Poland may be a cause of a serious threat to the efficient functioning of the health service
The hotline is available 24/7 at the following telephone numbers:
+48 22 230 25 20 - from 8: 00-15: 00 (the line is operated by Warsaw Genomics)
+48 793 293 333 - from 15: 00-8: 00 (the line is operated by the Rakiety Oncology Foundation)
