On the night of December 5-6, referrals for vaccination against COVID-19 with the updated vaccine, which protects against the coronavirus subvariant XBB.1.5, were automatically issued. The new vaccine is available to those who are at least 12 years old and at least six months have passed since vaccination with the previous dose.
COVID-19 vaccination - how to register?

As the Health Ministry reminds us, there are four ways to sign up for the vaccination:
- Through a toll-free hotline, open from 7:00 a.m. to 8: 00 p.m. You can do it yourself or with the help of a close family member. To sign up, all you need is your PESEL number. When registering, you can choose the exact date and location of the vaccination.
- Electronically through e-Registration available at patient.gov.pl. This requires logging in via Trusted Profile. The system will suggest five available dates at vaccination centers near your address. You can also use the available search engine and indicate a convenient date and location for the vaccination.
- Through direct contact with the selected vaccination center. If a patient wants to be vaccinated at a specific vaccination center, he or she can also contact the vaccination center directly.
- Through the myIKP app. You should be able to see the issued e-referral for COVID-19 vaccination in the application, and it will be highlighted with a blue border in the list of e-referrals. The e-referral is generated automatically or at the vaccination site. You need to click on it to open it. Then you will see the "Make vaccination appointment" button. Now all you have to do is select the date, time and place of the vaccination.
