Postponing the implementation of the National Cancer Network until April 2025 does not necessarily mean postponing the NSO by a full year, Health Minister Izabela Leszczyna has announced. The amendment to the KSO law is awaiting a vote, with the Health Committee not recommending adoption of the amendment by the Law and Justice Party, which would like to see some of the provisions come into effect earlier.

- The law on the National Oncology Network was adopted by the Sejm in March 2023. Today, we need to carry out its amendment, which postpones the network's entry into force, Health Minister Izabela Leszczyna said on Tuesday, during the first reading of the government's draft amendment to the law, which took place at a meeting of the Health Committee.
