Asked by Polsat News about her priorities, the minister said that while she has ideas for specific measures, she will precede their implementation by talking with colleagues. She is also open to dialogue with the medical profession.

- With the community, doctors, nurses, everyone on whom this health care depends," the minister said.

For the swearing-in, members of Donald Tusk's cabinet set off for the Presidential Palace in the morning from under the Sejm building in a bus bearing the inscription "Thank you Poland."

Before boarding the bus, Izabela Leszczyna declared that she was confident that she would be able to handle her new role. She asked us to wish her good health.

One of the first important meetings of the new head of the health ministry is expected to be Friday's discussion with the doctors' self-government during a meeting of the Supreme Medical Council.
