Izabela Leszczyna appoints Health Minister's Plenipotentiary for Health Prevention and Interdepartmental Cooperation

Damian Wegrzynski became the proxy.

The tasks of the Plenipotentiary include providing support to the minister responsible for health in terms of tasks belonging to the administrative department - health, in particular:

1) initiating changes in preventive health care;

2) monitoring and evaluation of health prevention programs, including those for the prevention of oncological and cardiovascular diseases;

3) coordination of draft legal acts on preventive health care with other ministers, in particular the ministers responsible for family, education and upbringing and physical culture;

4) Support the coordination of the implementation of the National Health Program, including inter-ministerial cooperation conducive to health and health education;

5) dissemination of scientific and practical achievements in the field of preventive health care;

6) implementation of tasks resulting from the planned in the first half of 2025 Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union, in the context of the priorities of the Presidency of the Ministry of Health on the promotion of preventive health care;

7) performance of other tasks ordered by the minister responsible for health.
