Minister announces return of quality law

The announcement aroused considerable consternation, although the minister immediately after the April 14 vote, which he lost, suggested that he would do his best to get the quality law passed - but the prevailing opinion in the comments was that it would be either the time after the elections, or (more likely still) that Law and Justice deputies would report parts of this law in the form of "throw-ins," while passing other laws (for example, provisions for the creation of the Compensation Fund or the liquidation of the Quality Monitoring Center). However, the minister is confident that on the second attempt he will succeed in passing the law in its entirety. He was expected to convince Law and Justice Chairman Jaroslaw Kaczynski to do so.
During a conference in Poznan on patient rights, he said, among other things, that "no one at the doctor's office does a patient any favors." - This is the time for patient rights to be measured and evaluated. It is time to eliminate disparities in patient-doctor relations," the minister said. The quote from Adam Niedzielski, posted on the health ministry's official Twitter account, was quickly shared on doctors' social media groups, triggering a wave of unfavorable comments. Doctors accuse Niedzielski of employing a strategy of conflating doctors with patients and pitting one against the other.
Doctors also point out that the minister is implying ill will on the part of patients when he says that the time for subjective treatment of the patient, which includes, as the minister explained, talking to the patient and giving him a comprehensive explanation of his condition and proposed treatment, when meanwhile the fact that a doctor can spend ten minutes with a patient, most of which time is taken up by completing documentation, is due to the way services are contracted and funded and is certainly not the doctor's choice.
