Health Ministry: Tasks separated

It is clear from the order that the vast majority of duties - and therefore responsibilities - will rest with the Minister of Health. This can be seen, for example, in the division of supervision over departments. Izabela Leszczyna also supervises all institutions under the Ministry of Health, including medical schools.
According to the order, Secretary of State Wojciech Konieczny, among others:
- replaces the minister in his absence or temporary inability to perform his duties;
- Is a member of the Committee for European Affairs;
- Is chairman of the Minister's Crisis Management Team;
- Initiates, coordinates and supervises the performance of tasks by:
(a) Security Department,
(b) Department of International Cooperation;
Undersecretary of State Ursula Demkow:
- Initiates, coordinates and supervises the performance of tasks by:
(a) Analysis and Strategy Department,
(b) Department of Medical Personnel Development;
Undersecretary of State Marek Kos:
- is a member:
(a) The Social Committee of the Council of Ministers,
b) the Joint Commission of the Government and Local Government,
(c) Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers;
- Initiates, coordinates and supervises the performance of tasks by:
(a) Social Dialogue Department,
(b) Department of Public Health;
Undersecretary of State Maciej Miłkowski:
- Initiates, coordinates and supervises the performance of tasks by the Department of Drug Policy and Pharmacy;
Health Minister Isabella Leszczyna:
- is a member:
(a) The Committee of the Council of Ministers on Digitization,
(b) Social Dialogue Council,
(c) Team for the Programming of Government Work;
- Initiates, coordinates and supervises the performance of tasks by:
(a) Minister's Political Cabinet,
(b) Communications Office,

(d) Central Center for Quality Testing in Laboratory Diagnostics in Lodz,
(e) the Central Quality Research Center for Microbiological Diagnostics in Warsaw,
(f) Central Sanitary and Antepidemic Reserve Base in Poreby near Zduńska Wola,
(g) Center for Medical Examinations in Lodz,
(h) eHealth Center in Warsaw,
(i) The Center for Postgraduate Education of Nurses and Midwives in Warsaw,
(j) The Medical Center for Postgraduate Education in Warsaw,
(k) The Center for Monitoring Quality in Health Care in Cracow,
(l) the "Poltransplant" Organizational and Coordination Center for Transplantation in Warsaw,
as well as all research institutes, the Air Ambulance and medical universities, among others.
