Since the beginning of October, the Mental Health Center has been operating at the Independent Public Provincial Psychiatric Hospital in Radecznica (Lubelskie Voivodeship). It will participate in the pilot National Mental Health Program implemented by the Ministry of Health. It promotes a shift from traditional isolation treatment in hospital settings to community care.

On Monday (17.10.), the hospital signed an agreement with the National Health Fund on the opening of the Mental Health Center (CZP), which is to provide comprehensive and free care for adult people in mental crisis. People suffering from mental disorders, as well as members of their families, relatives and friends of patients with mental disorders will be able to benefit from the CPC help. The activities of the Center are also directed to people who have been discharged from the hospital and need support in their further recovery.
On November 2, as part of the activities of CZP, an Application and Coordination Point is to be opened in Biłgoraj at ul. Kościuszki 50 (LUXMED building).
- The signing of the hospital's agreement with the National Health Fund and the opening of a new point in Biłgoraj should increase the quality and speed of patients' access to advice from specialists in the field of psychology and psychiatry, explains Jarosław Stawiarski, Marshal of the Lublin Province.
