According to the adopted amendments, the establishment of a degree program in medicine or doctor-dentistry will be possible in an academic institution which, as of the date of filing the application, has a scientific category of A+, A or B+ in the discipline of medical sciences or in the discipline of health sciences, or has a scientific category of A+ or A in at least three disciplines. It will also be able to be a university that, as of the date of application, conducts studies in at least one field of study that prepares for the medical profession other than the medical profession, has a scientific category in the discipline of medical sciences or in the discipline of health sciences, or employs at least 12 academic teachers conducting scientific activities in the discipline of medical sciences or in the discipline of health sciences, for whom the university is the primary place of work.
