MZ announces recruitment for National Council for Geriatric Care

The Ministry of Health invites entities and organizations to nominate candidates for the National Council for Geriatric Care.
The Council's responsibilities will include:
- advising on geriatric care, in particular on the definition by the minister responsible for health of the directions for the development of geriatric care;
- Making proposals for changes in geriatric care;
- Providing opinions on the submitted draft provincial plans and their updates;
- Providing opinions on the reports submitted by the governors on the evaluation of the organization and availability of health care services,
- Opinion on the financing of health services provided in geriatric centers and departments.
Candidates for the National Council for Geriatric Care are cordially invited from the entities and institutions listed in Article 43 (10) and (11) of the Law, namely:
- representatives of associations that are, in accordance with the provisions of their statutes, scientific societies of national scope, bringing together specialists in geriatrics or family medicine;
- Representatives of patient organizations whose statutory tasks include issues related to the care of the elderly.
The selected person will be informed in writing. The appointment of Council members will be made by the Minister of Health, and a relevant announcement will be posted on the Ministry's website on the above matter.
Applications must be submitted by February 22, 2024. - the date of receipt at the Ministry of Health counts.
The application must include:
- Completed application form (including all required data, statements and signatures).
- In the case of a signature made by a person not shown as a representative of the reporting entity in public records, the relevant document confirming the authorization to represent the organization must be attached to the application.
