On June 24, 2024, WUM Rector Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong, MD, PhD, accepted the recommendation of the Student Government and appointed Prof. Robert Galązkowski, MD, PhD. o zdr. Robert Galązkowski as Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Education.
Until now, Prof. Dr. med. and n. o zdr. Robert Galązkowski has served as associate dean for dietetics and emergency medicine of the Faculty of Health Sciences at WUM.
Prof. Robert Galązkowski is head of the LPR Mobile Medical Security Group. The group's tasks include the medical transport to Poland of patients from outside the country and participation in domestic and foreign rescue or rescue-evacuation operations against people in or likely to be in danger. Previously, he was director of the Air Ambulance Service for 16 years.
