Starting tomorrow (6.12.), all willing over the age of 12 will be able to be vaccinated with the new COVID-19 vaccine. The updated formulation protects against the coronavirus subvariant XBB.1.5.

Referrals for the vaccination will be issued automatically on the night of December 5-6. Patients can sign up for the vaccination through the Internet Patient Account, at a POZ or pharmacy (list available at: https://www.gov.pl/web/szczepimysie/mapa-punktow-szczepien#/), through e-Registration on the patient.gov.pl website, as well as through the 989 hotline (from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.) - as of December 16, 2023, the hotline will not operate.
If an eligible vaccinee does not have an e-referral, an authorized person at the vaccination center can make such a referral on his own, assessing the age and date since the last dose. At least six months must have passed since it.
For those not previously vaccinated against COVID-19 over 12 years of age, 2 doses should be given 3 weeks apart.
