1532 charges have been heard against a 38-year-old dentist from Nidzica. The woman, by showing in the records of more than 500 patients dental services that she did not actually perform, caused losses of more than PLN 278,000 to the detriment of the National Health Fund. She faces a penalty of up to 8 years in prison for her crimes.

The material collected by Nidzica criminals gave rise to the case of a rogue dentist from Nidzica. Police officers had been working on it since the second half of 2021. Their findings showed that the 38-year-old doctor submitted false claims for billing of services provided to the National Health Fund. In the course of the investigation, police officers identified more than 500 victims in whose charts the dentist had entered unperformed services between May 2019 and February 2022. These included anesthesia, surgical removal of a tooth, filling a cavity in the crown of a deciduous tooth, preparation and restoration of a tooth cavity or a medical check-up. Even teeth that some patients had no longer had for years were to be treated, according to her. The Nidzica resident caused losses totaling more than PLN 278,000 to the detriment of the National Health Fund with her criminal activity.
The 38-year-old dentist has heard 1,531 charges of attesting to false medical records for financial gain and 1 charge of fraud. During the operations, the suspect's property in the amount of PLN 100,000 was secured. The woman pleaded guilty to the charges. She faces a penalty of up to 8 years in prison for the crimes committed.
