The University of Kalisk has filed a lawsuit against NIL. There is a decision of the Court in this case

Meanwhile, the Court of Appeals in Lodz has dismissed a request by the rector of the President Stanisław Wojciechowski University of Kalisz to order the Supreme Chamber of Physicians to post a correction to information contained on the NIL website.

Recall: according to the medical self-government, the University of Kalisz opened a medical faculty without adequate infrastructure and technical facilities, and the study program itself was not aligned with educational standards, which resulted in a notice to the prosecutor's office.

Following the publication of the aforementioned announcement on NIL's website, the rector of the University of Kalisz, also a candidate for senator of the Republic of Poland, filed an election (24-hour) petition with the District Court in Kalisz to oblige NIL to correct the published information by posting on NIL's website that the University of Kalisz was characterized by high quality education.

In its response, the medical council first of all pointed out that the information on the NIL website is true and concerns the University itself, not the University of Kalisz rector running for a senatorial seat, let alone his electoral interests.

The District Court shared the arguments of the Supreme Medical Chamber and dismissed the senatorial candidate's application. The rector of the University of Kalisz filed a complaint with the Court of Appeals in Lodz, which upheld the decision of the Court of First Instance.
