Pawel Grzesiowski is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Warsaw Medical University, a doctor of medical sciences, a pediatrician and an expert in infection prevention. From 1989 to 1998 he was an assistant, then an assistant professor at the Children's Clinical Hospital in Warsaw, then head of the Department of Infection Prevention and Hospital Infections at the National Institute of Medicine in Warsaw. He has been an academic lecturer since 2001, including at the Faculty of Public Health of the Medical University of Warsaw, the Postgraduate School of Medical Law at the University of Warsaw and Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University. He cooperates with the Center for Monitoring Quality in Health Care.
Author or co-author of more than 250 scientific publications in national and international medical journals in the fields of immunology, immunization, prevention, therapy and control of infections and hospital-acquired infections. Popularizer of medical knowledge, winner of the "Great Educator" award from the Association of Journalists for Health.
About himself he says: - I am an emissary of medical knowledge, and the most important thing for me is the recipient. If I convey knowledge badly, for example, in an incomprehensible way, because I want to flash a clever phrase, then there is simply wasted time - mine and the recipient's. I think this is the basic prescription.
