The Ministry of Health has published information on the rules of exemption from the oral part of the State Specialization Examination and the deadline for submitting an application for joining the PES in the spring session of 2023.
PES: The new regulations are already in force. Today is an important deadline

The Ministry of Health informed that on December 31, 2022, regulations came into force according to which a test taker who obtained at least 75% correct answers in the PES test is exempted from the oral exam included in a given PES.
In addition, in connection with the already applicable art. 16w sec. 5 of the Act on the Professions of Physician and Dentist (Journal of Laws of 2022, items 1731 and 1733), a positive result from the PES part is recognized in the next six examination sessions after the session in which it was obtained, therefore doctors and dentists who have obtained at least 75% correct answers on the PES test in the last six sessions may be eligible for exemption from the PES oral exam, provided that they successfully apply for PES in the session where their PES test score is still valid.
Due to the fact that the deadline for submitting an application for taking the State Specialization Examination (PES) in the spring session of 2023 falls on Saturday (December 31, 2022), this deadline is extended to Monday, January 2, 2023 .
Therefore, applications to join the PES in the spring session of 2023 may be submitted until January 2, 2023 (23:59).
