Pharmacists appeal to Mateusz Morawiecki

NRL President Elżbieta Piotrowska-Rutkowska, in an open letter to Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, called for urgent proceedings and passage of the drug reimbursement law.

We consider the project necessary and indispensable to ensure the drug safety of Polish patients.

- During the prevailing global drug crisis and in view of the difficult situation in which Polish pharmacies find themselves - in order to be able to carry out their tasks and burdens arising also from the extension of the free drug program to another 12 million patients, we request that the Drug Reimbursement Act be urgently processed and passed," the letter to the Prime Minister reads.

The President of the NRL stressed that the lengthy negotiations with the Minister of Health have led to a compromise on all the issues that have been disputed so far.
