The draft ordinance was published - conditions for concluding and implementing contracts - separately contracted health services.

The ordinance introduces changes to the current ordinance amending the ordinance No. 167/2019/DSOZ of the President of the National Health Fund of November 29, 2019 on defining the conditions for concluding and implementing contracts such as health services contracted separately as amended. by introducing three new scopes of healthcare services to the list of guaranteed services in the field of outpatient specialist care:

1) caring for families of high, hereditary risk of developing breast or ovarian cancer;

2) caring for families of high, hereditary risk of developing colorectal cancer or endometrial cancer;

3) caring for families of high, hereditary risk of developing retinoblastoma or von Hippel-Lindau disease (VHL).

The purpose of the amending order is to introduce into the ordinance on the conditions for concluding and implementing contracts such as separately contracted health services, three new scopes of services, which will enable the provision of services ensuring the prevention and early detection of selected hereditary neoplasms (breast cancer, ovarian cancer, bowel cancer) uterine mucosa, retinoblastoma, von Hippel-Lindau disease). These changes are aimed at identifying people from families at high risk of developing hereditary cancers and providing them with specialist care through consultations and periodic diagnostic tests.

From 01/09/2022, the financing of benefits for families of high, hereditary risk of developing malignant neoplasms will be financed by the National Health Fund.

It is therefore necessary to introduce changes in the ordinance by introducing new scopes of healthcare services.

The order is expected to enter into force the day after its announcement in order to maintain continuity in the provision of services. The quick entry into force of the new regulations will enable the National Health Fund to start the procedure of concluding contracts with service providers for the provision of the above-mentioned benefits. Concluding new contracts during the validity of the existing contracts will provide service providers with the possibility of uninterrupted provision of services for people with hereditary cancers.
