Regardless of age, it is a good idea to regularly perform a basic package of tests: blood count, thyroid hormones, lipid profile, homocysteine. As the expert points out in an interview with us: "Regardless of what age we are, these tests should be done."
At a young age (around 20 years old), gynecological prophylaxis and building good health habits are crucial: regular visits to the gynecologist, cytology, HPV test, testing for TORCH infections.
In the later years of life (around the age of 40), the risk of civilization diseases and cancer increases, so the diagnosis is worth expanding: detailed lipid tests, homocysteine, breast examinations, control of cancer markers as recommended by the doctor. As the expert emphasizes: - Definitely do yourself a breast examination every once in a while (...) This is insanely important.
In old age, the organs responsible for cleansing the body require special attention: urea, creatinine, electrolytes and regular check-ups. - Older people need to remember that already less efficient is our system (...) that is, the kidneys.
