New frontiers of aesthetic medicine: dispute or opportunity for collaboration?

The Ministry of Health's communiqué on the scope of competence in aesthetic medicine only puts in order what, as Prof. Dr. Piotr Radziszewski points out, has been in practice for a long time: procedures that violate the continuity of the skin belong to medicine. At the same time, the expert points out the paradox of the market: doctors often have less knowledge about the skin than cosmetologists. Nevertheless, these circles, instead of competing, should enter a model of cooperation based on EBM and a common standard of quality.
