Prof. Renata Langfort: Standardization allows to change perception of pathomorphology

- The quality improvement project in pathomorphology is very important because, first of all, it changes the image of facilities, pathomorphology, which used to be decidedly invisible.
- Thanks to the fact that there is standardization, everyone has seen the future in pathomorphology, which also involves oncology
- The project allows, first of all, establishments that were underfunded, ill-equipped, to have a chance to receive adequate retrofitting and equipment, that is, adequate quality to perform good diagnostic tests
- Obtaining accreditation was very difficult. It took several months.
