Professor Brigid Kwiatkowska to head NIGRiR

The Health Ministry has decided to entrust the duties of director of the National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation in Warsaw to Prof. Brygida Kwiatkowska, MD.
Prof. Brigid Kwiatkowska is a national consultant in rheumatology, head of the Early Arthritis Clinic. Expert and co-author of preventive programs of the Ministry of Health, reviewer of the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tarification, head of grants of the National Science Center (Maestro). She teaches courses at the Medical Center for Postgraduate Education for rheumatologists, radiologists, rehabilitation physicians. She is the author of many scientific and didactic papers published in Polish (e.g. Medycyna po Dyplomie, Orthopedics and Traumatologia Narządu Ruchu, Polish Archives of Internal Medicine, Reumatologia) and foreign (e.g. Critical Reviews in Immunology, Journal of Clinical Medicine, Frontiers in Immunology, Rheumatology International) journals, author of chapters in books such as Interna Szczeklika, Medical Tribune's monograph Posteps in Rheumatology. She is the editor of the Polish edition of "Pain in Rheumatic Diseases" published by Urban i Partner., co-organizer of many periodic scientific conferences such as Warsaw Rheumatology Days and the Conference of Heads of Rheumatology Clinics.
