- Unfortunately, we see that the facilitations that were designed for all patients also carry some risks. We have identified a problem involving online prescriptions for psychotropic drugs. We have prepared an amendment that will be proposed to be attached to the Law on Health Professions. Its purpose will be to limit the possibility of prescribing in this regard," the Health Minister announced at a press conference on Friday.
The second problem perceived by the ministry is the indiscriminate prescribing by some doctors.
- We are really talking about even hundreds of prescriptions that are issued daily by a doctor. We will try to limit at the level of the prescribing system the various parameters so as to rationalize this and so that the patient is guaranteed that the drug will be issued at least after some conversation," the head of the health ministry indicated.
