The Main Board of the Anesthesiologists Trade Union has published its position on the planned reduction of health care expenditure in the state budget for 2023 by the Polish government.
ZG ZZA supports the negative position of the social side of the Tripartite Team for Health Protection of October 21, 2022 on the draft amendment to the act amending the act on the professions of doctor and dentist and some others.
ZG ZZA believes that the planned cessation of financing by the state budget, inter alia, medical rescue, many highly specialized services, drugs for patients over 75 years of age and the purchase of vaccines, with the simultaneous transfer of funding for these tasks by the National Health Fund, may deepen the crisis in the Polish health care sector.
ZG ZZA asks the Ministry of Health to withdraw the draft of the above-mentioned act, the entry into force of which will drastically limit patients' access to health services and worsen the economic situation of hospitals and outpatient clinics, which will reduce the level of health safety of Polish citizens.
