The Minister of Health appoints another team. Experts will take care of the health care of seniors

The team consists of:

1) chairman - secretary of state or undersecretary of state supervising the work of the Department of Public Health in the Ministry of Health;

2) secretary - representative of the Department of Public Health in the Ministry of Health;

3) Team members:

a) director or deputy director of the Department of Treatment in the Ministry of Health,

b) director or deputy director of the Department of Public Health in the Ministry of Health,

c) two representatives of the Law and Government Office in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland - including one representative with the rank of Director or Deputy Director,

d) two representatives of the Office of the National Development Council, Self-government and Civic Initiatives in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland - including one representative with the rank of Director or Deputy Director,

e) a representative of the Department of Healthcare Services in the National Health Fund,

f) a representative of the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariffs,

g) national consultant in the field of geriatrics,

h) national consultant in the field of long-term care nursing,

i) prof. dr hab. n. med. Katarzyna Wieczorowska-Tobis - chairwoman of the Main Board of the Polish Society of Gerontology,

j) Hanna Kujawska-Danecka, MD, PhD - Deputy Head of Medical Affairs at the Clinic of Internal Diseases, Connective Tissue Diseases and Geriatrics of the University Clinical Center in Gdańsk,

k) representative of the Department of Medical Personnel Development in the Ministry of Health,

l) representative of the Department of Analyzes and Strategies in the Ministry of Health,

m) representative of the Department of Innovation in the Ministry of Health,

n) representative of the Department of Social Assistance and Integration in the Ministry of Family and Social Policy.

The tasks of the team include: preparation of a document containing solutions and recommendations for improving health care for the elderly.
