The first of the deputy health ministers has received his appointment. Wojciech Konieczny became secretary of state at the ministry.

Wojciech Konieczny is a senator of the Polish Republic of the 10th and 11th terms, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Polish Socialist Party. He is a doctor - a specialist in neurology. He is a graduate of the Silesian Medical Academy. He was a provincial councilor, as well as director of the Municipal Teaching Hospital in Częstochowa. In the 2023 elections, he won senatorial re-election on behalf of the New Left.
