The 15th Scientific Conference of the Prevention and Epidemiology Section of the Polish Cardiac Society "Preventive Cardiology 2022 - guidelines, doubts, hot topics" is the largest and most interesting conference in Poland on the prevention of heart and vascular diseases.

The series of "Preventive Cardiology" conferences are multidisciplinary meetings with an established reputation, to which we invite not only cardiologists, but also internists, family doctors and professionals from other fields of medicine and health sciences.
As in previous years, we invited the best Polish lecturers and the most outstanding, internationally recognized experts to participate in the conference.
Among the many interesting sessions and debates, the following topics promise to be particularly interesting:
• Causes of deaths of Poles in 2021 and 2022
• Treating patients with hypertension, hypercholesterolemia and diabetes
• Obesity prevention and treatment
• Ischemic heart disease
• Heart failure
• Cardiovascular diseases and the course of COVID-19
• Cardiac rehabilitation
• Latest guidelines and expert views
• Results of the most important Polish research on risk factors and their consequences
This year's Conference will last two days, from Friday, November 18 to Saturday, November 19, 2022
Speakers and participants will meet live in Krakow, and additionally, educational sessions, satellite sessions and sessions of the PTK section will be broadcast on the Internet.
An event accompanying this year's conference will be the 9th Morning Run through Planty Krakowskie, an initiative highlighting the importance of physical activity in the prevention of heart and vascular diseases.
