Nearly PLN 300,000 will be donated by Gilead Sciences to the winners of the Positively Open competition. With this money, 10 projects related to HIV testing and education about the prevention of the virus will be implemented in 2024. Volunteers and educators will be seen at Poland's biggest concerts, but also at more intimate entertainment events, as well as during the student juvenalia. There will be no shortage of innovative activities, such as a city game or a virtual HIV clinic, among others. All this to stop the alarming upward trend in the number of newly detected infections with the virus in Poland.
The chapter of the Positively Open competition, consisting of Dr. Regina Podlasin, Prof. Ewa Siwak, Prof. Mariusz Gujski, Janusz Michalak, Paweł Mierzejewski and Rev.
