- Eighteen years of the Crystal Feathers competition testify to the enduring popularity of health-related journalism, which continues to maintain its position at the forefront of modern media trends. In the materials created, the contestants express their commitment and passion, proving that the authors' motivations are not limited to winning an award. In this year's edition, we had the opportunity to evaluate many excellent works, characterized not only by high content value, but also by innovation and effective communication. The competition attracts both experienced professionals and young talents who are determined to show the journalistic truth and raise awareness about civilization diseases. The winning works promote health knowledge and inspire activism, making an invaluable contribution to our common fight against civilization diseases," stresses Professor Tomasz Grodzicki, a long-time juror of the Crystal Feathers competition.

- Medical journalists have a unique opportunity to reach patients with the most important practical information. In the field of oncology, which is close to me, health education is crucial for health promotion and cancer prevention. The role of journalists in this aspect is huge and very much appreciated by us. Reviewing the works submitted to this year's "Crystal Feathers" competition, I was sincerely pleased to see the presence of many truly excellent authors who, with their diligent work, help us build a wise, informed society. Please believe - it is not an easy task to single out only a few of the more than 100 submitted works," admits Professor Piotr Rutkowski, who is a juror in the Crystal Feathers competition for the first time.

- The Crystal Feather Competition supports the promotion of reliable knowledge about preventive health care. Year after year, it is gaining more and more recognition and - thanks to consistency - also the trust of journalists. To date, we have already awarded a total of 125 Crystal Feather statuettes. Each of them signifies that the author of the work is not only a proactive educator in a given field, but also a person who can convey information in a way that is accessible and understandable to a wide audience. Thanks to such a mix of competencies, we can effectively encourage the fight against diseases affecting millions of Poles
and contribute to improving the quality of life of patients," says Katarzyna Urbanska of Servier Poland.

- We are proud that after eighteen years, the Crystal Feather competition is not only a form of recognition for outstanding journalistic work, but is also a nationwide initiative to reach patients with key, practical educational information. Our statuettes not only reward journalists, but also contribute to building health-promoting attitudes and eliminating risk factors in society. Thanks to the commitment and passion of more than 300 journalists, for almost two decades we have continued our mission to spread prevention in the fight
against the most common diseases of the Polish people. We would like to thank all participants
and congratulate this year's winners! - concludes Natalia Stasiakowska-Jabłońska of Servier, who is responsible for organizing the competition.

The "Crystal Feathers" competition is organized by Servier Poland in cooperation with the Polish Society of Hypertension, the Polish Society of Oncology, the Polish Society of Clinical Oncology, the Polish Psychiatric Society, the Polish Diabetology Society and the Journalists' Club for Health Promotion.
