Blood is urgently needed in the Świętokrzyskie region. There is a shortage of almost all groups

RCKiK in Kielce reminds that the gift of blood is urgently needed for the sick, including children in hematology wards, patients with cancer, hemorrhages, those injured in accidents, those awaiting surgery and those on dialysis.

Blood can only be obtained by donation, which is why it is so important to mobilize blood donors to visit the center or its territorial branches. A donor can be any healthy, adult person weighing more than 50 kg.

After donating blood, blood donors are entitled to the following as standard: two days off work or at their place of study - on the day of donation and the day after, reimbursement of the cost of travel to the blood service facility, as well as 9 chocolates. In the capital of the Świętokrzyskie region, donors also receive a 30-day public transport ticket within Kielce. Now, to further encourage residents to donate blood, the RCKiK has tickets to home handball matches involving super league Industria Kielce, Kielce Trade Fair events, and PSS Społem Kielce food products to give away.
