As the health minister pointed out, good management and empathy on the part of the health minister are necessary, as well as joint solutions to the problems that exist in the health care system.
- On my first day in office, I met with Chairman Lukasz Jankowski and we agreed that we will talk systematically so that problems do not grow to such a level that neither side is satisfied with the proposed solutions. We are all aware that we have to look for compromises. Many of your expectations, in my opinion, can be taken into account," said Izabela Leszczyna.
The president of the NRL, Luke Jankowski, spoke of cautious optimism after his meeting with the new head of the health ministry.
- I am glad that our demands, including the introduction of a real no-fault or the training of future medics at universities suitable for this purpose, have been heard, and on the first day of the new Minister's office. This is a good sign. A signal that there is openness and interest in the health of Poles on the part of those in power," said Lukasz Jankowski after Wednesday's meeting.
