Ministerial team will develop recommendations for implementation of no-fault system

In order to develop recommendations for the implementation of a no-fault compensation system in the health care system in the Republic of Poland, a Team is appointed to develop recommendations for the implementation of a no-fault compensation system.

The Team consists of:

1) Chairman - Prof. Janusz Piekarski, MD, Vice-Chancellor of the Medical University of Lodz, Head of the Department of Oncologic Surgery of the Department of Oncology of the Medical University of Lodz;

2) Deputy Chairman - Dominika Janiszewska-Kajka, deputy director of the Treatment Department at the Ministry of Health;

3) Deputy Chairman - a representative of the Supreme Medical Chamber;

4) Members:

(a) representative of the Minister of Justice,

(b) a representative of the Patient Ombudsman,

(c) a representative of the National Health Fund,

(d) two representatives of the Supreme Medical Chamber,

(e) a representative of the Supreme Chamber of Nurses and Midwives,

(f) a representative of the Supreme Pharmaceutical Chamber,

g) a representative of the National Chamber of Laboratory Diagnosticians,

h) a representative of the National Chamber of Physiotherapists,

i) a representative of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Medical Universities,

(j) a representative of the Residents' Agreement of the All-Poland Physicians' Trade Union,

k) a representative of the Council of Patients' Organizations to the Minister of Health, l) a representative of the Council of Patients' Organizations to the Ombudsman for Patients' Rights,

(m) A representative of the Legal Department at the Ministry of Health,

n) representative of the Department of Medical Treatment at the Ministry of Health - secretary of the Team

The Team is tasked with developing and presenting recommendations for implementing a no-fault compensation system in the Republic's health care system.
