The Ministry of Health appoints a team to develop changes to the pharmacist training standard

The team consists of:
1) Chairman - prof. dr hab. Wojciech Miltyk, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy with the Division of Medical Analytics at the Medical University of Bialystok, chairman of the Convent of Deans of Pharmaceutical Faculties;
2) Deputy chairman - Radosław Jamiołkowski, chief specialist at the Faculty of Education in Medical Professions at the Department of Medical Personnel Development at the Ministry of Health;
3) members:
a) a representative of the Department of Medical Affairs at the Department of Higher Education in the Ministry of Education and Science,
b) national consultant in the field of hospital pharmacy,
c) national consultant in the field of clinical pharmacy,
d) a representative of the Supreme Pharmaceutical Council,
e) representative of the Polish Pharmaceutical Society,
f) a representative of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Medical Universities,
g) a representative of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland,
h) a representative of the Higher Medical Education Committee of the Students' Parliament of the Republic of Poland;
4) Secretary - dr hab. n. farm. Anna Gromotowicz-Popławska, vice-dean for student affairs at the Faculty of Pharmacy with the Medical Analytics Division of the Medical University of Bialystok.
The tasks of the Team include the development of a proposal for an amendment to the regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of July 26, 2019 on the standards of education for the profession of a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, nurse, midwife, laboratory diagnostician, physiotherapist and paramedic (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 755 and of 2022, items 157 and 1742) with regard to the standard of education preparing to practice the profession of pharmacist, in particular:
1) review and presentation of proposals for changes to the set of learning outcomes in terms of knowledge and skills in terms of adapting them to the current needs of the labor market,
2) specification of professional competences of graduates of uniform master's studies,
3) developing proposals for changes in individual groups of classes focused on classes shaping practical skills, including practical classes and apprenticeships
- taking into account the requirements contained in Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications (Journal of Laws UE L 255 of 30 September 2005, p. 22, as amended 2)).
